The United Parcel Service (UPS) remains one of the best carriers in the United States, and for many of us, it\u2019s a preferred delivery company for parcels of all kinds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of such that we will be talking about today is the UPS \u201cloaded on delivery vehicle\u201d shipping status. What does it mean? What are you expected to do and when can you expect to take the delivery of your parcel after receiving this shipping status?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UPS \u201cloaded on delivery vehicle\u201d shipping status means that your parcel has been loaded to a delivery vehicle or has been dispatched to a UPS driver for delivery, and you\u2019ll generally expect delivery of the parcel in question on the same day, or the next day \u2013 if you received the status late in the day. This is the case when you have a time-definite air delivery, in which case the driver is expected to make the delivery as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For every other UPS package that isn\u2019t time-specific, you can expect the delivery of the parcel between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm. If you work in a commercial address like a shopping complex, you can expect to receive the parcel by the end of business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you don\u2019t receive your parcel after some time of receiving the UPS \u201cloaded on delivery vehicle\u201d status, you might call the local UPS customer support for assistance in tracking your parcel. There are times when I have seen a package I was waiting for at a UPS Access Point location after some time of waiting for the package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The driver will inform you if this was dropped at the access point, but chances are that he might have delivered it there and forgot to update the tracking with that information, so call them should you have any issues receiving your parcel, or if the UPS \u201cloaded on delivery vehicle\u201d status remains while you don\u2019t receive your package after two days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
