While \u2018liquid\u2019 deodorants like gels, creams, or pastes will be required to be in containers less than 3.04 OZ\/100 ml and put in a clear quart-sized bag in either your carry-on or checked baggage. This is the general rule set by the TSA for liquids on the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This rule also applies to aerosol deodorants, however, for carrying an aerosol deodorant in your checked baggage, the restriction is 18 OZ or 500 ml per bottle. However, perfume is liquid and is subject to the TSA 3-1-1 rule. This means that, if you are carrying perfume or cologne in your carry-on bag, it has to be in a container less than 3.04 OZ\/100 ml and placed in a clear quart-sized bag. If you\u2019re carrying the perfume in your checked baggage, then there is no size or quantity limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You should note that there is such a thing as \u2018too much perfume\u2019 when flying internationally. With an international flight, if the number of perfumes you are carrying does not seem to be intended for personal use, you will be asked to pay a duty tax. This does not apply to domestic flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One way to go around the TSA 3-11 rule is to purchase duty-free perfumes from a duty-free shop within the airport.
